From Backyard BBQ To Catering Across Victoria.

What started as a simple hobby during Melbourne's COVID lockdowns quickly became something much bigger than anyone could have imagined. Like many food lovers, Eric found himself spending more time at home, experimenting with BBQ and learning the art of low and slow cooking. Encouraged by his fiancée to share his journey online, he began posting his backyard cooks on Instagram, documenting every success, failure, lesson, and late-night cook along the way. That journey became the foundation of AZN BBQ BOY.

What began with a Weber kettle and a passion for great food soon grew into a loyal community of supporters who followed the journey from the very beginning. Through years of dedication, countless hours perfecting the craft, and an obsession with quality, Eric transformed his passion into a thriving catering business. In 2022, he invested in his first custom-built offset smoker, opening the door to larger events and new opportunities. By 2024, the business expanded again with a second 850-gallon smoker, allowing AZN BBQ BOY to cater even bigger celebrations across Victoria.

Today, AZN BBQ BOY is proud to have catered more than 300 events, from weddings and corporate functions to birthdays, engagement parties, and private celebrations. While the business continues to grow, the philosophy remains the same: use premium ingredients, stay true to authentic American BBQ traditions, and create unforgettable experiences that bring people together through great food.
